I'm looking to buy a 2w blue laser if anybody is selling one. Possibly under or close to $200.00:thanks:
 





Good luck. Its going to cost you more than $200. You need a massive heat sink, large host, 2 drivers, high quality battery, and a special AR coated lens to get to the 2W level.

Do yourself a favor an build your own. Its not that tough, and all the info is on the forum.
 
Why 2 watts?

With 1.6 watts you will have a longer duty cycle, longer battery life, longer diode life and you wont be able to see the difference unless they are side by side.

Also, I hope you have laser safety goggles.

By the way, about diode lifespans.

its really a pain in the @ss to remove all the wires and re solder everything if your diode turns LED
