RAWR this thread is getting a little bit crazy... I know everyone is still on edge because of the whole lemon/beamcheap incident, but I don't think that's reason to imply that new members could possibly be the same person as lemonwonder. And to suggest he should be banned based on purely circumstantial evidence? That just seems ridiculous.

That being said, mrgoogfan, you really need to calm down a bit and realize that some people here, like twhite828, are just trying to make sure that something like the "beamcheap" incident doesn't ever happen here again, and you seem to have been caught up in that.

IMO people just need to settle their kettles right now.

Hmm.. having a hard time deciding? Time for a pro and con list!
Here are the things I see that speak for and against this review being bogus:

For:
OP has previously lied and posted misinformation
laserpointerpen have previously spammed this forum
OP has several times criticised other companies
OP talks a lot about laserpointerpen
very limited visible damage to laser despite claims of large drops onto concrete and accelerated dropping
very unlikely that the inner parts of the laser would have survived such drops - like a car has to crush to protect the people inside, having a thick, hard case does not protect fragile inside of laser from a large drop
specs sound fabricated - (275mW green and 50mW IR), and OP cannot provide information on devise used for testing
hostile reaction from OP when questioned

Against:
mode of beam seems honestly stated
bad divergence of beam seems honestly stated
OP does speak of other things than this company, and seems to be here to learn too
OP is young and therefore unlikely to own laserpointerpen, although perhaps he has received free units/money/other for lying about their products

Please let me know if I missed any.. and then I guess OP can try to prove his claims and argue his points (in a polite manner), and we can decide what to do.

Nah, they started to appear after a couple drops. The tem modes are so high though, that the beam looks essentially guassian. They are really only noticeable when the beam is put through a lens and made 3 feet wide.

We self moderate for the most part, so everyone has the right to call anyone else out when we think they are lying. Sorry if some of it may sound harsh, but we wont put up with it.
