240mw blu ray laser died. lookn 4 repairs!

Hi guys. I just recently bought a 240 mw blu ray laser off of another user. It worked great for a while until today when I decided to play with it..... I turned it on and the dot was very verry dim. It was cold so I thought that was the problem and I had energizer e batteries 1.2v in it so I made sure they were charged. After warming it up with my bodyheat the dot was very dim still but then it got bright for a split second and enter completely out. I'm pretty sure the diode went but I'm not an expert so I'm looking for someone who can fix it for me or tell what I can do to fix it. I have some of he lasers specs in the thread I posted in and bought. Please any info helps and I can try my best to provide any needed info.
