200mw deal extreme vid

How's the beam divergence of the DX200? I am ALWAYS disappointed in their higher power laser's beam divergence.

its good.. i really have nothing bad to say about this laser. i heard in other topics that these laser are a chance , but i guess i got lucky with this one. later on i will put a few more vids on. like i said before, the camera really doesnt capture the brightness or the beam of the laser. over all im happy with :)

here are some pics, 2 of them are in my room, no fog or anything . one is out side.

does it always have 2 beams like that?

Thanks,
Mitch

Just a guess but it looks like this was taken without a flash....the slightest pointer movement or shake could create that image, dot loks pretty focused on the dot shot.
newbie uneducated guess by the way! ;)

yea i know but the 2 pics with the duel beams look almost exactly the same there may be some mode hopping issues

Thanks.
Mitch

yea replacment is the only option wiht mode hopping it can't be fixed.

thanks,
Mitch

no the one that i took outside i set the camera to night mode, its alot more sensitive i guess i moved it a little bit while takin the picture

To check if it is mode hopping, get a magnifying glass and point the beam through it into a dark surface... if you get two dots it is mode hopping. It is normally difficult to notice without a lens to expand the beam.

i have mode hopping so bad on my DX 5mw greenie if i put it on my laptop i can see two dots about 2mm away from each other
