Hi,

I'm in need of a simple circuit to charge and stop charging a 18650 in a piece of equipment I'm building.

Need to be able to power it from a typical cheap wall adapter and then cut off when its fully charged, the 18650 is non removable from the equipment you see.

Anyone seen any little circuits on any of the Chinese sites or Fleabay?

I don't know if you need it but I have some wall adapter left over from the Police lasers build. They are suppose to charge a single 18650 cell in the host. The chargers are not used for the laser. They are 4.2V DC from 110-230VAC.

@ Blord

do you have more details and/or photos? does it connect to the battery directly with no circuitry needed?

@ Things

Thanks , not cheap though haha , this would be ideal

Any photo's or circuit diagram?

You can omit the 470 resistor and led if you dont want a status indicator

Chip will do 500mA max
2k resistor sets the current at 500mA
Charge current = 1000V / RPROG

You also wont need cap across vbat, since your battery will allways be connected
