'150'mw 405nm laser from ebay user geareb

Hey, does anyone know if it is an actual 150mw diode? or is it one from a PHR-803T sled? because on the page it says " The ideal range for these diodes are known as 100mW- 125mW." Which isn't 150mw (without endangering the diode)!!

Why risking a PHR to 150mW, and throwing $33 + S&H in trash? PHR 803T sled + LM317 and some resistors + 9v batt + aixiz module = ~$20

edit: what the guy is thinking? "Diode : TO-18 5.6mm can" 5.6mm isn't TO18! It's TO56!

NOTE: I was a laser noob a couple of weeks ago now I know not to buy kits... I'm way gonnna buy the parts myself now !

NOTE: you need goggles for these lasers. Do you have they? seriosly, you risk your eyes by not using some.

Got any good places to buy goggles? I found WL but due to customer reviews i'm not buying from them! :undecided: And the other safety goggle companies make ones that don't look very good... :wtf: Plz help!
