130mW bluray review (Darkarmyofone build)

As some others did, I took advantage of Darkarmyofone's build service.
I asked him to build me a bluray in the pocket mini for around $100.
What I got was a 115mw (avg) - 130mW (peak) bluray laser in a pocket mini host.

It takes 1 CR123 battery.
I'm using a Trustfire 3.7v.:

It uses a PHR-803T diode, flexdrive at 110mA and outputs ~115mW. Overall, I am very satisfied.

PS im working on a better Dark Lasers Decal. fyi

And the tailcap poses a POTENTIAL threat to backflash.... looks cool... maybe PHR's can get away with it... but i KNOW black caps will kill any diode. and i've seen a GITD cap kill an 8x... *puke*

Yeah, a black cap with the nub STILL on, WILL fry a red AND blu-ray diode.

Been there, done that, done test it lol. unless you have some crappy 16x's or some IR's, you could try it to prove it.

But caution to the weary, Use a black cap, never turn it on with the cap on.

I feel the GITD caps are more transparent, and thus less reflective, so thats why they dont kill Blu-ray lasers when you turn em on.

Best to use a GITD, and always trim the Nub.

And yes AW batts are by far the best i think,
