100mW green laser not up to the mark ......

Now I got the JD850 replaced , now I have a JD881 , it has a focus , I tried to pop a balloon , it couldn't pop it but was able to poke a hole in it , is it bad ?
No its not bad its just unfortunate that the replacement laser which as i said is focus able still hasn't got enough power to pop balloons as you desire its a pity. However the balloon will need to be dark blue or black to pop with a laser of a lower power . Try that first and let us know what happened ,be very still when focusing on it to pop it .regards ...

just WOW , i just popped 3 balloons with this laser, one of them just blew up in less than a second , just WOW , it was on full charge , that could be a reason , its beam was slightly visible in day light .
i am happy with it :) :)

Well you got what you wanted the laser to do great, should do matches as well black or dark green ones ...By full power you are saying the battery wasn't fully charged ...or you got the laser focussed properly to get "full power" so it could pop balloons. After all these posts I'm curious as to which, i gather you did use black or dark blue balloons.

i used colourful balloons with a black spot on them , tow of them popped before i could focus on the black dot
i.e popped roughly translucent balloons . the first pop which i heard , i thought no way it was not that laser lol

Well having it fully charged is a standard thing to check at if you think you should have enough power to light a match or pop a dark balloon or balloon with a black spot on it. As its your first laser you didn't know if you had enough in first place ...moral of the story check your batteries first before anything else.
