@ DTR

How can you tell if each driver delivers 900mA? In what position of the potentiometer will provide 900mA?
I want to buy this driver and the 2W laser diode, but can I use one single driver at 1.5A output with 3.6V input?
Can I expect to reach about 1.5 - 1.6W output (and maybe save the diode from burning out)?

I would just like to take advantage of the thread bump and say that that is one of the cleverer things I've seen in a while.

As you were, gentlemen. :D

Found a new use for mine!.....
KILLING FLIES!

This summer, flies would try to get on the top of my 12 foot ceiling where I couldn't get them.... "wrong!"

My 1.9W lazer made my DTR does a fine job of toasting them... while they immediately fly, in a few minutes you will see them on the ground somewhere and the will "not" be on the ceiling anymore!

Aside from blinding thier zillion littly eyes, I'm sure it gives them an instant sunburn!
