Re: ►AMK GB◄ ~ SF-AW210 Diodes $10 Each
It was not that I don't trust YOU, but rather that I did not trust the flakey free hosting service you were using on the original link. That site has a seedy reputation, and as I recall was often used by E-MAIL spammers & scammers as a landing page for fake pharmaceutical sales, porn pages, PayPal phishing scams, etc!
The fact that your pay page on that site was acting flakey also did not inspire confidence in its safety.
But regardless of what fancy s/w you are using, your original pay page had not been working for at least two days.
And was still not working last I tried it.
Under these circumstances, I found your response above to my request to PM me with alternative payment info rather unexpected. IMHO, providing a buyer in a GB with a PayPal addy to pay directly when they are having problems using a custom payment page is common courtesy, PARTICULARLY when the inability to pay is due to repeated problems on the seller's end!
In any event, I took a look at your new payment link today. I was prepared to pay you again today via your NEW link you provided, but when I went to a secure PC and tried to do so...
DAMNIT!
Your new "free hosting" service had TAKEN YOUR PAY PAGE DOWN! Even worse, they took it down because...
:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
This also raises the question, if the reason your prior pay page has been down for over two days, is perhaps your account was intentionally disabled by your prior hosting company?
I have been trying to pay you for two days now, without success, due to all of these problems at your end. I do not know what is causing all of these problems for you (perhaps your PC is infected, and you are inadvertently uploading infected files to these sites?)
What is particularly ironic, is that you have been complaining that this GB is being held-up, because ppl aren't paying you fast enough!
But giving me your PayPal addy as I originally requested is no great secret, as it was clearly visible by following the pay links in your new pay page (before your new hosting company took your pay page down!) Given these bizarre circumstances, I feel it is only prudent for members to pay via known safe means. Can I simply pay the exact same amount via PayPal's own site, to the exact same PayPal addy that your own site was sending it to anyway?
Agreed.
I don't know about you, but seeing the words "malicious content" on a payment link does not exactly encourage me to want to whip out my credit card! Why would anyone want to use that payment link, after something like that?
Particularly given the circumstances, PayPal's own site is a much safer method.
I use a secure shopping cart program that supports paypal and Googlecheckout. I will not accept any other payments. If you don't trust me then I am sorry to inform you that you are out of luck
