We use Lasever lasers all the time.. never had a problem with the lasers or the service. I've bought probably 15 show lasers from them over the years, and have grown a successful laser show company using many of their products.
When will people learn not to listen to half the stuff they say on...
I had planned on building a prototype this week but me free time has not cooperated.. story of my life. Hopefully today or tomorrow I'll get some time to myself..
Re: 100mW CNI 473nm analog lab-style laser for sale
110V. PSU is included, just plug it in the wall, give the laser 5VDC on the modulation input and you're in business. You'll need a 5VDC source of some sort since it's analog. You have to give it a control signal. You can use a 5VDC wall-wart...
Re: 100mW CNI 473nm analog lab-style laser for sale
Bump.. I know it's not handheld, but this is a good opportunity for someone to add 473nm to their collection.. and with no duty cycle limitation. This laser has the best beam in my collection as far as DPSS lasers are concerned. It's almost...
I'm curious what the wait time is for sale threads to be approved? [I think] I posted a sale thread for a 473nm laser yesterday morning but I still haven't seen it.. which makes me wonder if I ever hit the "post" key.. so yeah if any mods know what happened to my thread please let me know.
Just picked up the chemicals for etching. My plan is to etch the board as shown in the diagrams for the purposes of testing, hope to have a working prototype by the end of the week if I can manage.
It's in that link.. doo eeet! I'd take 10 blanks right now if they were available.. There will always be a need for space for the large output resistor in series with the diode at high currents like 2-5A.
Might have to convert the image to some specific sort of design file, I haven't tried to order pcbs online before personally. That's a pretty trivial issue though. http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/ldartwrk.png
That wouldn't be too hard really, there are websites that sell that service. Given the size of the boards it might not even be very costly. I'll look into it tonight and see what I can find..
I'm getting ready to build a prototype for myself currently, although I've been dragging ass due to some other obligations. Really I just need to etch and drill the board and solder the parts on. If we could get the blank boards produced in bulk it would be that much easier for people, but I...
Yep. Fully analog. Replacing the LM317 with an LM338 is a direct replacement and allows up to 5A current. No further modification required. You can even drop the 68pf and 10pF caps on the feedback loops of the op amp for slower speeds such as for show use. Also, use CA3240 op-amps instead of...
1 MHz analog laser driver based on the LM317 or LM338 for up to 5A:
Sam's Laser FAQ - Diode Laser Power Supplies
This is looking promising in the simulations I've been running, in fact it works perfectly in simulations. I've got all the parts (not many really) just haven't etched the board...
Re: self-luminous tubes for sale
Looks like I can get it down to $13USD for shipping.. but not the speediest service. It's been awhile since I've shipped anything out of the country but it seems like the rates have gone up a bit..
Re: self-luminous tubes for sale
Bump.. no interest? I know they're not typical LPF fare, but the price is right, especially if they're all bought together. They're very nearly just as bright today as they were new. I've lowered the individual prices a bit..
I'm selling a CNI 473nm laser. It makes over 100mW sustained, despite being a 50mW rated unit. It's never been tweaked, touched or modified in any way. VERY low hours, less than 150 hours total. I've only powered it up once in awhile to make sure it still works. I measured it today, it's making...
Selling off a few self-luminous GTLS tubes. The larger diameter tubes are 20 year tubes that are about 2 years old, the 4x40mm tubes are 15 year tubes that are also about 2 years old. PLENTY of life left in these.
I've got 3 1.5" tubes, 4 4x40mm tubes and 1 2.8" tubes for sale.
I'd like to get...
