    3x2x0.25 Battery?

The Note 3 battery is 3200mAh, vs 3100mAh on the Note II, but they're twice the price, maybe more, so not really worth the money for such a small increase in power.

    3x2x0.25 Battery?

I have a battery box I'm working with, and I'm looking for a battery as close to as possible to 3x2x0.25 (inches). The closest I've gotten is a Galaxy Note II battery at 2.2x2x0.25, but I'd like one a little bigger (with more power), but it can't be too expensive, either. I've found that...

    Orange plastic

Btw, I don't have an LPM. Any easy way anyone can think of for me to test it myself?

    Orange plastic

I have some thick, translucent orange plastic. Does anyone know how I could reasonably see how good it is at protecting against blue light? I want to use it as a shield for some laser demos at my old high school.

For sale : 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $80

Re: For sale: 2.2W blue lasers in blue 501B host. Yeah, 3rd and 4th gen both had 64gb capacity, but they don't make them anymore. Just PM me if you want to discuss it, or post here if you decide no so the other users know it's up for grabs still.

For sale : 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $80

Re: For sale: 2.2W blue lasers in blue 501B host. Hey, would you maybe consider a trade for a 64GB, 4th gen iPod touch?

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) I just did some more research and it appears that many A- and M-140 diodes tend to not lase until well over 400mA, so how about 600mA instead of 400. And no, I just don't want/need a laser that much more powerful. If I...

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) You said no other configurations but I'm not sure if this counts: do you have lower power buck drivers available to use, like maybe 400mA, instead of the 1.2A mentioned for the DIY kit?

Hey, I saw a bunch of neat laser stuff you have but I'm tight on funds, so I was wondering if you might be interested in some trading for my iPod. I posted about it in BST, here's the link http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/ipod-touch-4g-64gb-250-trade-200-cash-78321.html Thanks!

10.5 mm diameter to work with,

I bought a really inexpensive laser pointer from DealExtreme a while ago, and it never worked, but I decided to not care and just use it as a host for a new laser project. Problem is that the inside diameter is 10.5mm and Aixiz modules are 12mm (right? I don't have any on hand). Are there any...

    GONE: iPod touch 4g, 64GB, $250 trade, $200 cash

This iPod is in the mail, sorry to any interested folks, but thanks for your interest! I have a 4th generation iPod touch, 64GB capacity. It'll be two years old on New Year's Day, so it's out of warranty, but it works just fine. I have a black silicon case, crystal clear screen protector, an...

    Actual Laser Laws by Country

My understanding of US laser laws are that for personal use (i.e. NOT for sale), the laser laws do not change from Class IIIA to Class VI. However, to be *sold* in the US, Class IIIB or Class VI lasers must have additional safety features, like a key lock, remote interlock, etc.

    GGW-H20L (6X) vs. SF-AW210 (6X)

I agree. Also, "I agree" is not a legitimate reason for reviving an old thread, and usually also not a legitimate reason for making a post in a thread in the first place.

FS: Stainless Steel 10440 Kit! - Awesome!

Well, I'm concerned with maximum output power for the available equipment, and in small builds the efficiency is a major factor. I just wish I had a lot of money, so I could just make the 2 dozen lasers I want, and buy the odd colors I can't make (orange, yellow, etc).

    Driver alternatives?

Erm, 3 chips. Sounds pretty neat, though. Is the voltage via boost or linear dropout? They say 3W 1050mA...that wouldn't provide enough voltage for a 445 build.

Yeah. I still get a bit hung up on the numbers, though :/

    Driver alternatives?

Humm. Neat. Are these inexpensive, readily available, and small?
