488nm 100mw Sanwu Guardian with 3x Beam Expander

According to Podo you can run it until the batteries die since the Guardian heat sink is meant for a pointer roughly 8x more powerful than this. However, I've never tested it.

488nm 100mw Sanwu Guardian with 3x Beam Expander

That is a case for a glass smoking pipe. You can find them in smoke shops, on amazon, etc. Prices vary wildly from about $3 wholesale to $10 retail.

Sanwu Challenger II 492nm 160mw Review

Nice review! Seriously considering one of these in a Red Guardian host.

I suggest you ask Podo directly to make sure by emailing sanwu support.

    Red-Purple Wavelength?

I apologize, my question was unclear. What I meant to ask is what wavelength is the result of combining blue plus red wavelengths, or is the result not considered it's own wavelength? For example, on an RGB the maxed output is called white, but "white" has no wavelength. Is there a word for...

    Red-Purple Wavelength?

This question has probably been asked before, but I searched and didn't find an answer. Red-purple isn't a wavelength, but it seems to be visible with an RGB/RGBV as a purple-pink magenta color that doesn't seem to appear on the wavelength chart. It isn't >700nm and it's not <400nm, so is it...

5W 445nm & 4W 470nm Sanwu Laser Rangers, plus Review of Most Sanwu Accessories

There was finally a break in the rain, so I was able to take some rain-free sky pics of the cross and line lenses on the 470nm Ranger at full power. Cross lens. Cross lens with moon. Line lens. Line lens with moon behind clouds. As always, digital cameras make this look more visible...

5W 445nm & 4W 470nm Sanwu Laser Rangers, plus Review of Most Sanwu Accessories

Cross Lens: At ~4W the cross lens makes a HUGE, somewhat dim but visible, hundreds-of-feet or more across, cone-like effect in the sky. It has rained every day here for weeks, so I've been unable to take a rain-free sky pic of these. It really does look this psychedelic in the rain (assuming...

5W 445nm & 4W 470nm Sanwu Laser Rangers, plus Review of Most Sanwu Accessories

And this bird you cannot chaaaaaaaange... Accessories Reviews: As far as Sanwu's accessories go I picked up several different things just to try them out. 3x Beam Expander: The 3x beam expander is great, a must-have for anything powerful. It has been reviewed repeatedly elsewhere by people...

5W 445nm & 4W 470nm Sanwu Laser Rangers, plus Review of Most Sanwu Accessories

Before we proceed to the review, I wrote you all a poem about whales and laser safety and peanuts that are painted to resemble those little seashells that get sold on beaches in Mexico by older men who wear distinctive yet silly hats, then I removed the parts about whales and peanuts and...

    400mw 405nm, 462nm, & 525nm Sanwu Challenger IIs

I would really appreciate it if you would stop responding to my posts. I do not read the things you type. I do not value your opinion. When you go around being acidic to friendly people as your natural & primary way of relating, some of them will naturally begin throwing everything you post into...

    400mw 405nm, 462nm, & 525nm Sanwu Challenger IIs

They show on their website that they beef up the heatsink etc, whether that's true or not I don't know. I debated posting this at all, seeing how so many people on the internet lack social skills and say rude things constantly. I decided to post it for people who want an opinion on whether...

    400mw 405nm, 462nm, & 525nm Sanwu Challenger IIs

Ordered a set of three Challenger IIs. Requested they be set to 400mw. Wanted to see what the highest-output non-Class IV beams looked like. 400mw lasers are not safe, in any capacity. You need protective eyewear for them. If you are new to lasers please do not order a 400mw or even 10mw...

Cheap eBay saftey goggles for 200mW red laser?

Just a heads up, with a 200mw 650nm you may not always be able to see the dot through cheap ebay glasses. I can't with mine unless I'm burning certain colors, such as something green colored. You can see the dot on a green leaf but not on a brown leaf, and not on most cardboard or blue or black...

    Single mode and multi mode

Tech forums like this one are not generally receptive to questions that have been answered before. If you want a more laid back place to ask this stuff, try doing a search for reddit lasers. If you mind people suggesting that your questions are stupid, you might want to leave the internet...

Do I need protection goggles to use 1W green laser at night time?

https://noirlaser.com/gry.html Take your pick. These work for violet, blue, and most green wavelengths. For red lasers you want something different.

Anyone know if you can use sanwu laser star caps and beam expander on thor lasers

*website name removed* says they will fit the Thor M2/H2s but not first generation Thors. I don't have a Thor M2/H2 to verify this. The Sanwu star caps and their beam expander also fit on those cheap ebay Model 900s (only the focusable ones), but not Model 920s, 303s, or unfocusable Model 900s...
