Like someone else said, Hydrofluoric acid is wayyy scarier!

Not symmetrical box reflection on laser diode

I agree, the SS host is still nice. I plan to use it with a lower power 488nm build soon!

Not symmetrical box reflection on laser diode

Strangest thing. I recently built my NDG7575 and it took me almost 2 weeks before I realized it has what I believe is the box reflection?! Bugs the crap out of me lol, I could swear it wasn’t there before. Also, my NDB7875 has no box at all. Both lasers running G8 lenses

Not symmetrical box reflection on laser diode

Nice hosts, I love my survival lasers too! The S4X is definitely perfect for high power diodes.. the stainless one however I didn’t have good luck with. With the same diode you’re running (7875) it would get hot even at the 1 minute mark. Moved it to an S4X and now the duty cycle is infinite...

    Thor H2 batteries

I use either 18650batterystore, or Liionwholesale. I'm currently using Efest 26650's in my 7500mw Sanwu striker with great results. Expect to pay around $10 a piece

Need help with lens "binding" in module

Makes sense. The only thing that gets me is that it's less than a week old! I hate removing the lens since it's open can but I took it out and cleaned the threads up, lots of compressed air, etc. For now it seems back to normal

Need help with lens "binding" in module

Hi guys, I have a new 465nm build I completed and it's gotta be my favorite so far! I've had it maybe a week and I am now starting to get some binding in the lens when I go to adjust the focus. The diode is open can so I don't want to do anything inside the module.. is there anything I can...

Building My First 7w With NUBMM44 V2 need all help I can get!

Very nice, good job. I use DTR and SL for all my builds as well with great results! I recently got a 7.5w Sanwu so I wont be building one but for all my builds so far I've stuck with the 12mm copper modules and the copper heatsinks from SL. The 20mm module is awesome.. makes me wonder just HOW...

Hello I want to get into lasering and want a good laser

I'm sure you're already enjoying your laser and everything went fine, however, I would note that the particular driver you are using is the only one SL sells that utilizes only one battery. Don't throw two in it or you will most likely destroy it!

Dont Buy Sanwu's 1.6W Blue Laser

Just watched your video.. looks like you got one of their cheapies, makes more sense lol. Probably just got a bad one, have them replace it

Dont Buy Sanwu's 1.6W Blue Laser

I also recently placed an order from Sanwu. I received (2) Striker 7.5 watt lasers and it only took 7 days to arrive from the time or ordering. Both lasers are freaking gorgeous and are also ridiculously powerful! I suspect you’re either doing something wrong like using only one battery...

    NDG700 vs

Little update. I have transplanted the 2.4w Blue components into the new S4X host I ordered and it went well. The host is definitely worth the price; very impressed with it! Threads all feel great, the size and weight are substantial which is nice, and the most important thing is my Duty Cycle...

    My first experience with Sanwu

I did get a response within an hour or two which was nice. Was super helpful but they did confirm my second laser was shipped separately and would be here in a few days.. lol. I told him, feel free to attach a tracking number if you have it. Didn't get a reply hahaha. Should be here any time...

Need help finding a high quality laser

Placed an order with Sanwu last week. Only took 7 days from the time I placed the order till the package arrived here in California. Highly recommended! Very high quality

    NDG700 vs

Appreciate the help. I gotta tell you I'm not a complete noob but I definitely have a lot to learn lol. The laser safety was drilled into me 8 years ago when I joined these forums.. you only get one set of eyeballs! I got my good friend into lasers recently and I had to drill it into him too...

    My first experience with Sanwu

Hi guys, I placed an order one week ago for 2 identical Sanwu lasers: Striker series 7watt 445nm. Everything has been quiet and I have not received any tracking information, however, today I received a package from them! I'm very impressed that it only took 7 days from the time I ordered to...
