If you're discussing just the flashlight and not a laser, there are kits available to convert the AA Maglite into an LED Maglite. These can be found on eBay for only about 10 bucks or so. If it's a laser...then see above.
I think the real question here is do you have to wear the neon green outfit when you use it or not? :wtf: What's really funny is that I have on "Revenge of the Sith" on the TV...Spike is doing a marathon...lol.
If you are willing to sell one set to me, I'd appreciate it. I'm new to this and just starting to build a collection. I don't have a heckuva lot of capital to get started with and at $30.00, this would be a good, inexpensive start for me. Please PM me and let me know or simply reply here.
Would you recommend that I use a bag of blue M&M's when testing my Blu-Ray laser as well? Or Twizzlers for any red laser I may purchase in the future? I realize that I will need to increase the amount of candy as I get lasers that are higher powered. That is a given...hope this method works out...
If he needs the beam to be visible for that distance, it sounds like he wants the laser to act as a straight edge or chalk line/plumb bob. I don't have the background to know if that will be possible in daylight.
Lol..the first thing that everyone on this site will recommend is really good eye protection. There are plenty of links to different goggle types that match different laser ranges all over the website. Check into these first. Protecting your eyes is paramount when deciding on a laser. I've only...
Very helpful...+1 on the rep. Is there also a simple terminology thread on the forum or no? Terms like "pill" and other nomenclature designations threw me a bit as I was reading some of the threads. I eventually figured them out but it would be nice to have an explanation thread somewhere along...
Thanks. I have read the majority of those threads along with the safety ones. Being new, I need all the info I can get to make an informed decision on whether to build my own first or buy a production model to get started. Then there is the details like size, color and of course, cost..lol.
As far as lasers go...I'm such a newb I should still be registering here and not replying to threads..lol. I just have experience as an Admin on a international forum and usually can decipher posts fairly well.
Looks like they are simply saying that you missed the cut off to get it before Christmas. "Posting" meaning mailing, I believe. Good Luck with it when you get it though.
Total newb to the laser arena but I browsed a bit before registering...looks like I found the right place to begin learning and get some input as I progress.
