    Which laser is better?

The first host not only looks better, but has a better shutter, and supposedly better focusing system.

    487 nm. Laser possible ?

He means when you compare it side by side with a "real" blue, like when you have a HeNe, to me they seem quite red, but as soon as you put a 650 beside it, it instantly looks more orange than red.

    487 nm. Laser possible ?

Yeah, but definitely not the way you were "sure" it would.

somebody asked for a "death sun ray"...

Hopefully thats something like the 44"x33" fresnel lens I got my cousin's 55" projection TV. :eg: I calculated that to be 1279 watts at the focal point acording to the solar constant. Of course it will less because of losses and stuff, but still, that's a LOT of power. I'm going to building a...

    487 nm. Laser possible ?

You can't combine laser light. What will be happening is the 532 will be stimulating the green (rods?) of your eye, and the 445 wil be stimulating the blue (rods?), which will trick your brain into seeing somewhere in between. You will NOT have a laser of 487nm, you will have two separate lasers...
