Re: FS: 5W 470nm laser in Sinner MS V1 Host
Yes, the color is completely different in person. It's surprisingly hard to accurately capture in photos, you'll notice that others have the same difficulty, even in youtube videos. The diode is definitely the N465
This laser was custom made for me by a forum member back in December. I Paid around $400 for it, asking $300 obo.
Built by Griande in France
MS V1 host with satin finish made by forum member Sinner in Dubai
N465 canned diode from DTR's shop
Driver set to 3.8A
Metered at 5048mW when shipped in...
not sure what the etiquette is, but this is a bump.
p.s. there is a video i posted of the laser, buried several posts up on this thread, in case anyone is interested...
ok ok, i see now that the group buy one at $270 is the obvious choice for a Jetlasers pl-c laser buyer. So i've lowered the price once again to $240.
Here are the buyer's options:
Option A: Group buy. $270 + $10 shipping, plus $20 goggles, plus $10 batteries, plus $20 ultrafire charger = $330...
Thanks for the reply's. Yes laser's degrade over time, but this laser is fairly new, has been turned on very little time in total. Secondly this is a laser well made with good components, less risk of degradation due to the long duty cycle, good heat dispersing, and higher quality diode. It is...
To help sell this, i thought i'd post a match lighting video...
not sure how else to describe that this is not you're typical green laser, certainly not a cheepo. $290 is a great deal for someone...
here are some photos.... (I took the beam shots just as it was getting dark here in portland)
Some one needs this in time for fourth of july, so please buy it!
Another thought, if the buyer has an LPM and good rep count on the forum, then i wouldn't mind sending it off with a partial payment...
You guys are ruthless :)
So i dropped the price. I'm located in Portland Oregon. I will post some photos shortly.
Trevor - thanks for offering to meter it! If anyone who buys it would like it metered first i would be willing to ship to Trevor or whoever for that purpose.
Thanks, pics to...
For Sale: PL-C 250mw (300-325) $240 (price lowered)
I'm selling it because I don't use it enough to justify owning it. Includes shipping priority/insured, 3 batteries (blue ultrafire), original box, jetlasers safety goggles, and an ultrafire charger. (i paid $420 not including shipping...
Just to finish off this thread...
I ended up buying a 250mW 532nm "PL-C" from Jetlasers, by contacting member JETLASERS. And i must say i am very pleased with it. The host quality is very nice, it feels solid, substantial, tight, and the functions are smooth. The heat sink fins are nice and...
Re: GB#1 IS CLOSED!! JETLASERS THEY ARE ON THE WAY!! 250 mWs all overspec free ext
what internals make a laser good? Is it the diode? crystals? optics? dpss?
jetlasers uses an "nlight" diode, as does optotronics and laserglow. (do i have that right?)
nlight is a US company (interestingly...
So I ended up ordering a Jetlaser. The few reviews i've read were favorable, and the company appears to be very organized, and quality oriented. I contacted "jetlaser" member (Gray) and he was very helpful.
So i'm getting a 300mW over spec green (with 1 year warranty) for well within my...
Great suggestions, Thanks for the reply's. So now i have narrowed it down to the following, which of the two should i get?
Optotronics: "Opto200-Portable" https://www.optotronics.com/rpl-green-lasers.php
-High build quality, 5min on / 2min off duty cycle (not bad) with no long term damage...
So I'd like to buy a good quality green laser but i am having a hard time determining which one i should get. Any suggestions?
Budget: $600 Preferences: continuous duty cycle, i'd like to receive an over-spec product, I'd like it to have a precise beam/dot, a high build quality, and ideally i'd...
The batteries i have a supposedly brand new, i got them from rayfoss with the laser. They are blue Ultrafire batteries.
I don't have a video camera, but i am confident that the laser is properly focused. I even put the laser directly on my finger for 30 sec and i could not perceive any warmth...
