New Zealand tightest Laser regulations in the world

My next one will be from Jet Lasers, a 2W one, unless they have one more powerful. They are of very good quality, a nice very heavy host, and have the ablity to run. off an AC power supply, so without battery and order the AC power supply, will look like it runs of the AC mains, and seems a...

New Zealand tightest Laser regulations in the world

Yes at the moment customs would be on full alert. Jet lasers do make their lasers, either run off AC power or batteries, got a 300mw green off them, and due to a muck up with the order and waiting so long, they gave me the choice of a free accessory, so took the AC power supply. Would not mine...

New Zealand tightest Laser regulations in the world

Thanks for clearing things up, Yes from New Zealand and shaky CHCH, which has only the odd aftershock now after 3 years. I was wondering how, in Countries, where there are laser bans, of less than 5mw, seems they are still being imported? and puzzles me how people are getting away with it. I...

New Zealand tightest Laser regulations in the world

High-power laser pointers | Ministry of Health NZ As an owner of Some high Powered lasers, New Zealand is on the growing list to regulate lasers, and now restricts the use to only 1 mw, which is far worse then anyone. Australia has tough laws, but you can get up to 5 mw, but in NZ it is...

A company that DOESN'T underspecs its laser

Got a Green 200mw from Jetlasers, metered it is 230mw, love it, very good quality, and nice focusing ring, very smooth, but heavy for a 200mw, but solid. Also consider the duty cycle, many are rather poor. When I buy a laser I like ones with very long, to continuous duty cycles. Have had my...

A company that DOESN'T underspecs its laser

Well for your information here is one example. Wicked Lasers Arctic 1.25W - YouTube And one, or 2 here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f44/wicked-lasers-positive-experiences-79314.html And if I have to, will do a video proving the Actic 1.4 is also over spec. So there are to odd ones around...

A company that DOESN'T underspecs its laser

Don't know about the other lasers from Wicked Lasers, but the Arctic now are overspec. My Arctic S3 meters at 1575mw, I have the 1.4w version, and someone here has a 1.25w that peaks at almost 1.5w, so think their lasers are overspec. They are not the same bad company they once where with the...

A company that DOESN'T underspecs its laser

Got a 200mw Laser From Jetlasers, a very nice laser, and is focusable and one of the new pro series. I did an LPM test and they test them before sending them to you, and give you the printout. Their lasers are fantastic quality and overspec. Also costumer service is fantastic.

Yes it is steady, a great burning laser, but certainly mine is not 200 mw, but love it all the same, burns very well indeed.

3 Meter Burning Match DX High Power ( 200mW Real ) Red Laser Pointer

This is untrue. I have one of these reds, while they are great burners, mine is not 200mw, but out putting 167mw. I know this, because just got an LPM meter and tested it.

My First impression of O-Like Bluray

You are right, the head is slightly wobbly, seems when the grease wears in a bit, you start getting a slightly wobbly head. I guess another solution is a small o-ring tape, etc, not on the tread, but just at the end of the thread to take up the slack. It is not really a big deal as it does not...
