    Yobresal: DA MAN!

I recently purchased a 445nm laser from yobresal back in this thread: http://http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/1-2-watt-copper-445nm-blue-lasers-150-shipped-63859.html At the time he was selling the 1.2W 445nm in the C6 host for $135, which is a fantastic price. I ordered mine right before...

    Jayrob 18650 Kit Review

Recently I purchased one of the more recent developments from the Jayrob Laboratories - the 18650 host kit. I actually purchased it for my wife - with the apparent demise of the Kryton GB, I needed suitable replacement for the project. So I present - the 18650 Jayrob laser, wifey's style...

    Galileo w/damaged lens - $25

Up for sale this time is a Laserglow Galileo with a splotchy lens, projecting a dot with a good deal of scatter. The laser is in otherwise good shape, body in near-perfect condition. At this price you can gut it for DIY, or replace the lens for a working 5mW laser. Shipping is free within the...

Dilda with four sets of batteries and charger - $40

Dilda with four sets of batteries and charger - SOLD! I am offering a working Dilda in excellent condition with a 3.0V charger and 4 sets of batteries (two sets 3.0V (green), two sets 3.6V (blue)) for $40.00 - free shipping. The laser is free of scratches and surface defects. The label is...

MXDL host with heatsink & flexdrive - $25

I am looking to sell a silver "chicken leg" MXDL host with heatsink and driver and three 10440 lithium rechargeable batteries for $25. Shipping is FREE! The host and heatsink are in excellent condition and the driver works well. Brand new, $25 gets you the massive Jayrob heatsink only, think...

    BDR-S03 Disassembly

This is my first time taking apart a sled, a BDR-S03. I am not sure which of the diodes is the blu-ray. If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

    No duty cycle LCC red

I have a couple of the BDR-S03 sleds and have a question about the LCC diodes in them. Anyone have any idea what current to set the drive at for no-duty-cycle operation for a LCC red? A similar study for PHR's yielded 90mA, just wondering if anyone knows for the LCC red. I'd like to build a...

    Gotta love laser-friendly wives!

Because they give great birthday gifts! In my case, an Optotronics GLP-150 for the big 4-0. It looks similar to a DX True 30, but that is where the similarities end. I powered it up and WHAM! A faint beam in a sunlit room and the brightest spot ever seen on a wall. The green output is...

    Dilda Diode?

Anyone have a clue to which type of red diode a stock Dilda uses? I have a Dilda purchased around April 2008. It's stock except for the Meredith glass lens and puts out about 280mW on fresh 3.6V batteries.

    LedShoppe Greenie.  Ten bucks.

It's the return of the Crossfire TEN BUCK SALE!  :D I have an LED Shoppe 50 up for sale - it's a bit underspec (~30mW) and somewhat unstable, but it has a superior divergence of .4mRad.  The laser body is in near-flawless condition and the button clicks perfectly.  It's a good fixer-upper at...

    Pinout for SD-AD112

I have a SD-AD112 405nm diode that I am going to fit into a Jayrob pocket mini build.  I realized that I am not sure of the pinout for the diode.  Can anyone point me in the right direction so I don't fry the diode?  I reckon the penalty for incorrect polarity is death...of the diode!

    AixiZ modules and me

I am starting my first DIY red laser build (thanks for the inspiration, Dave!) and have a question. What's the best way to force the AixiZ module into submission and get it to surrender the 5mW diode so I can replace it with a real (20x open can) diode? It seems press-fitted, but it's wedged in...

    The new blu-ray is here!

Recently I had the pleasure of ordering a beastly 145mW blu-ray from daguin (Dave).  It was ordered on Sunday, dropped in the mail (trackable...schweet!) on Monday and arrived today at my job.  It was sturdily packaged with plenty of bubble wrap and packing peanuts to protect the beast within...

    Atlasnova does it again!

Since I recently sold my old <5mW greenie, I was in the market for a new, high quality low-power (<5mW) greenie that I could safely use outside.  I first looked at the Core, but it seems they recently jacked up their price to $49.99.  I then looked at Atlasnova, their 5mW "True Green" was also...

    FS: 5mW greenie.  Ten bucks.

That's right, I'm selling another $10 green laser. This one's <5mW, 2mm beam diameter at aperature, but a measured divergence of ~.5mRad due to the fatter beam. It's in good shape, flickers a bit before it warms up. Paypal gladly accepted. :)

    WTS: DX30.  Ten bucks.

Up for sale is one used DX30, in good condition. Modded slightly with the "plastic behind the driver board" fix. Has the usual DX quirks (likes to stay cool, peak operation temp 25 degrees C), but works well. With fresh batteries, it's nearly as bright as my Atlasnova, which tests at 40.6mW...

DX is a sick freaking joke

On 14th March I placed an order for the DX200 Red laser (plus two other cheap items), their website stating it was in stock and ships in 2-3 business days. On the 20th, I get a notice the order is shipping.  It turns out only one of the cheapies shipped.  Fine.  Let's wait for the next one.  On...

    The blu-ray has arrived!

Recently I had the pleasure of purchasing a 405nm <10mW blu ray laser from Milos. The shipping was fast, I ordered it Friday and got it in the mail this morning at my job. After some lasering in my cube here, I have to say that 405nm is the oddest beam I've ever seen. My eyes have a tough time...

    Re: Selling 2 Green lasers

Re: Selling 2 Green lasers Erm...a brand-new X85 is only $159.  With the box it's still $179.  Why are you selling a used one for more than that?  :-?
