FastTech has 18650's in stock!!!! Sanyo/Panasonic!!

Great find:beer: and great timing too! Was just about to order some!:D

3W Mag Machine!!! [PIC HEAVY] 9mm 445nm Build!!!

Hello LPF, today I present to you THE MOST POWERFUL laser I have ever built. You can find the build thread HERE:lasergun: First, this machine of pure amplified light could not have come into existence had it not been for a few, very much appreciated members here; Mrcrouse, DTR, and Flaminpyro...

Re: Help Laser Pointer Possibly eye damage As IsaacT said, it is difficult to understand what you are trying to say but why and how did you repeatedly get hit in the eye with a laser? It also sounds like there is some irresponsibility going on with the handling of the laser. Make sure to follow...

    WTB: Best Laser(s) for $200?

So I recently got my hands on $200 of expendable cash and of course it's going toward lasers:p. I know this is an expensive hobby, but I was wondering what is the best, most ***y laser $200 can buy/build. I am open to any wavelength, and power (above 5mW) combination, and if possible, I'd like...

Ghetto Laser RC Helicopter Build :)

Do you have a remote controlled switch to turn on the laser? Or do you just turn on the laser first and then fly the thing. Either way this seems like a bad idea... a laser beam waving all over the place with little aim control

Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Re: Group buy on g type lenses Sure, no problem! I still think these may be better than the o-like ones but who knows

Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Re: Group buy on g type lenses Measured another 9mm 445nm diode laser and it went from 1800mW to 2300mW (28% increase)

Contemplating new purchase, dont want to go blue but $$$$$$

    Good choice!

    WTB: 1W-2.5W laser

    Sorry, nevermind.

Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Re: Group buy on g type lenses Actually, it may be even more than 22% because I realize now my batts weren't fully charged when measuring with the G-2 lens. I'll get a new reading with charged batteries soon.

    9mm 445nm 2D Maglite Build [COMPLETE]

G-2 type lenses came in the mail from techhood... I now get 3.1W of power!!!

Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Re: Group buy on g type lenses My 3 lenses from techhood came in the mail today and I get a 22% increase over 3 element. The Maglite in my sig went from 2536mW to 3103mW

    DIY Driver Circuit question

http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/laser-driver-can-done-rog8811-87507.html Sounds like all you need more is an LM317 regulator and you're set:beer: I made a laser using this circuit and it works well. (it's the white link in my signature)

    Review of SF501B 445nm Blue 2W by Sci-Fi Lasers

Don't stress it, members here at LPF tend to be picky when it comes to reviews and what qualifies as one:p
  17. Photonz

    LM317 question

Use the LM1085 regulator instead. It can go up to 3A and is basically the same as the LM317 in specs.

Making sure I don't kill my laser

Depends on the host but you'll need two 3.7V li-ion batteries.

Contemplating new purchase, dont want to go blue but $$$$$$

    Sure, no problem:)

Contemplating new purchase, dont want to go blue but $$$$$$

I'd go with the 1.6W PLTB450B Osram diode here:beer: It has better divergence and is 450nm not 445nm like the M140
