Pretty sure they're multimode, but I think they have better divergence than the M140's, so if you need a really bright beam those would probably be the way to go. M140's suck for long range anything :whistle:

A single mode 445 focused to infinity would probably be great for this.

Everything SEEMS fine inside, nothing looks like it's shorting. Used it with everything exposed and I get the same output.

So, I built a 12X @ 500mA a while ago, and just recently the output is much lower than it should be and looks really weird. Anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? Pictures taken outside because my camera picks it up too well inside. EDIT: It was working perfectly. Stuck it in my pocket...
