    Killed my C6, ugh :(

Do you know which case polarity (battery pole at tailcap) and driver is used in your c6?

    Killed my C6, ugh :(

If only one pin is off and the diode is case neutral or the pin even was the case pin you can connect the pin carefully and fast with a small solder blob to the case. Then you need the same case polarity of your host and the constant pole of your driver to have the same polarity. ( most are...

    Ionizing metal vapors with lasers?

I would like to know whether you think it's possible to ionize metal vapors(or maybe even gases) in a Na vapor lamp for example with a low powered aka handheld laser. I know you can't do that with gases but their ionization energy is more than twice as high as those you need for alkali metals...

    Murder fund - WH16NS40 16x - Blu-Ray BDR / BDXL burner

I'm in if you would test the Pioneer s09xlt. DTR already tested the 209DBK and it performed very well! Now in the past all the cheaper 20-X- like 206 or 205 had 3.8mm diodes which were less powerful than pioneers other slightly more expensive series s0-X-J or s0-X-XLT namely s06j those also had...

    Sodium metal

I think it melted and touched the water directly with momentum in the oscillation of floating on the hydrogen it's producing. Interesting video on that subject: Sodium v Water (slow motion) - Periodic Table of Videos - YouTube BTW a nice little site you have there I enjoyed reading some of...

New Generation 445nm Diodes: Nichia NDB7A75

The backplate on which the diodes are mounted is finned or connected to a finned heatsink and then this is fan cooled:beer:

New 3.8mm red Diodes on the Block.

I realized that this was quite rude and unrespectful from me. I normally don't do this was just a bit caused by unrelated stress today. As I said it's not the way I meant it which I explained and apologized. I have nothing against new infos in an old thread just know the consequences and if...

New 3.8mm red Diodes on the Block.

I'm sorry If anyone felt attacked personally this was not against him or so. I also see that it's not bad to post in old threads if you have something new and relevant. At this point one has to decide whether it's reasonable to reply to a simple short question with not really new infos like I...

    Sodium metal

No of course not this is HIGHLY DANGEROUS I was just dreaming loudly;) I always wanted an ampule of Cs but its so freaking expensive :/ It's so beautiful! --> beauty cesium Source: http://web.archive.org/web/20070207015229/http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2004/1432/2004-1432.pdf maybe I'll try it...

    Sodium metal

Wow in CPU Coolers those engineers must have been on some good stuff! Just Crazy  I would make NaK in mineral oil or some high density solvent like nurdrage uses it needs only 63°C for K and 98°C for Na to melt  I get my chemicals over a friend who works in an institute...
