If You've Actually Received Your Spyder III Arctic - Post Here

Re: Arctic Spyder S3 (WL) + Exp. Lens Kit Review *LOTS OF PICS* What do you mean sad because its well under 48000? Mines 47XXX and it shipped already...So Not sure what your getting at! But hey, I see you also got the lens pens and extra shades choice :) Same thing I went with :D (Note this...

    Arctic vs CNI PGL-III-C

Nice compare images, Dot of the CNI looks a little smaller. Everyone is different, I usually buy items for looks sometimes more than performance...So I would have to say the Arctic. BUT, because the Arctic just went to $400+, I'd have to go by cost, and would probably have gone with the CNI...

If You've Actually Received Your Spyder III Arctic - Post Here

Re: Arctic S3 (WL) + Exp. Lens Kit Preliminary Review If this is true then I guess unlike some peoples, WL did fit the 1.5mrad specs. About how long did shipping take? My order couldn't be added to my account (made it after I ordered) and I dont get emails from WL, just a few oddly. They...

Spyder III Pro Arctic - Questions Answered

Well, at least all this anticipation will end by the end of this week when I can see how mine works (G2). WL told me Monday 1/2 my order is going to ship so I hope they didnt lie. Redhook, at least its possible to adjust it!

    Rayfoss waterproof red issues

I got home yesterday and turned on my red laser, and it didnt go on. Last i checked, the battery was 4V. So I open the laser, battery said 3.9V. So I kept trying to turn it on, and it would flash bright, then dim, then off. I've seen this one, when my battery was below 3V. So I checked it...

If You've Actually Received Your Spyder III Arctic - Post Here

Re: Arctic: Spyder III: Review Thanks for the review, Enough for me to easily say "Yup, I still want one". I already own a custom build that runs 1.3W, so I'm plenty happy if my arctic is 700mW max. The laser looks nice, and its far better beam specs than my Jayrob 405nm glass lens. Your...

Spyder III Pro Arctic - Questions Answered

Most videos said go by the photo in the manual, not the words. I, however, am rather happy I bought an arctic, and have no regret of doing so. I've seen both very bad, and extremely good beam spec reports. So some flat out got unlucky, others were very lucky. So no matter the way it comes to...

My Arctic Photos + 1080p HD Videos Thread

Well, from others pictures, it seems you have one of the good lasers, 0.5" at 17ft...Instead of 5 inches at 15ft. Looks good! Cant wait for my G2!

    1W 445nm lasergun w/ video

Nice video, lots of things got burnt during the making. :) Looks cool! Never seen a 445nm vs sausage o.O

could this be the MOST MODIFIABLE 532nm handheld???FGB rayfoss

Well, rayfoss told me (note their laser says >600mW) they usually set them and meter them between 650-700+mw. It's just guaranteed a 600mw or more.

Police using Green Laser to temporary blind people :)

So what happens when police start to possibly use this more than anything they have, and the 'bad guys' get smart and start wearing orange glasses...You can get them for a few dollars, and they will do enough to block the green, and have no effect. So what does the cop do then? Hope it has a...

could this be the MOST MODIFIABLE 532nm handheld???FGB rayfoss

Never know. I have plans to get the 600mw with some special needs to get it cheap, but they told me they use a 2W IR laser for their 600mW laser. Doesn't this mean it can be a 2W laser actually? It sounds like they use high power IR lasers tuned way down for a long life. I'll be able to tap...

    405nm making ink whistle!

I did this to an inkpen once and it too makes crackling popping noises. Same thing if you put a black piece of plastic in water, and lase it through the side of the glass, it makes cracking noises.

    cutting kevlar with laser

I my self am making a CNC right now with a 1W blue laser for cutting thin plastics and decal etching. This is just for tuning, I'm installing a 60W CO2 laser for acrylic later :)

has your laser ever gotten you into trouble?

So far no, hope to keep it this way :) I use my lasers indoors only, and if I ever do outside, I use it when I (or a friend) are the only ones around. Any time I see people coming, I avoid using my lasers because where I live, no one has lasers, maybe very few with 5mw dollar store ones. So I...

POLL: BAN high power laser sales to the general public?

Id say no because like getting a handgun/shotgun, you need to be responsible. I dont need a license to shoot a gun, but i do need one to own a gun. I'm at the age that I can, and ever since age 12 I've been shooting handguns, rifles, and shotguns. I simply fall on this because a laser should...

    Laser pond scum projector

Yup, Cool indeed, Use to notice this when I did it to projector lens, seeing the dust particles huge. Fun to see the things move around inside it, and relishing when you swim in a pond, whats really in it, at a microscopic level :)

Now we can cut nails with 445nm lasers :D

I was bored once and put my 445nm to infinity, pointed it at a leg hair and found it was cool that it instantly was chopped in half. Then 10 secs later the smell hit me... Ack!! Can't nail burning possibly burn the under-skin below the nail? I can just see people watching that video, seeing...

    It's done...

I already do spend my money on worse things, to them at least, tesla coils and large capacitor banks :)

    It's done...

Not alone with the parents, also 18 in the same case. I been spending like 200-300 a month for past 3 months, and this month I total 600 dollars due to 2 blue lasers (arctic + jays host + $50 diode) couple $30 spends, some electronic parts and 2 NEMA 23 steppers...Boy will the day she reads my...
