    Sanwu 488nm Pocket beauty

I use an older model Ocean Optics USB2000 (which I'm fortunate enough to still have the calibration data for) and it still performs quite admirably thankyouverymuch (it is only plugged into my computer during active use; I don't keep it connected continuously for obvious reasons like many people...

Review of the Directly-Injected 505nm Bluish-Green ("Mint Green") Laser Pen

Re: Review of the Directly-Injected 505nm Bluish-Green Laser Pen Sorry about my extended absence. :( I simply haven't had any lasers to evaluate since the Skytech 520nm jobbie from last year. Thank you for your compliments regarding my reviewing format and details that I add (I believe that...

    Sanwu 488nm Pocket beauty

488nm is my new favourite wavelength; just yesterday I received a 488nm portable directly-injected diode laser from overseas; I knew from the time that I fired it up that it would spectro somewhere very close to 488nm, and when I did spectro it, I got a wavelength of 488.7nm! Needless to say I'm...

    Waterproof ebay 488

I got one of these lasers this afternoon; to the eye it looked identical to the 488nm argon ion laser line. It spectroed at 488.7nm which is damn close indeed! It was advertised as a 1mW unit; however it measured 68mW! I'm officially a very happy camper!!!

301 Laser Output Test by LPM

I purchased a "301" laser quite a number of months ago but it is violet, not DPSS green. I haven't spetroed or LPMed it yet, but it is of decent output power -- when the focus is adjusted so that its beam comes to a point, it will cause smoke to issue from wood and dark plastic. I believe that...

Review of the Skytech Class IV 520nm Green Portable Diode Laser

I honestly have no idea who's diode is in that thing...methinks that I'd better email my contact at Skytech and ask that very question. I did some sleuthing on Google and it indicates that Osram is indeed the manufacturer of the laser diode in the 520nm green laser, and Nichia is the...
