Edit to my post: The heatsink's on my lpc's were soft and smooshy. Like trying to make a crisp break off a soggy turd. I got them out but the diode casing was Fuxored. Pressing them into a module was a little more effort than usual with the chunked edges

These diodes were a pain in the ass for me, I did the two pliers method and also the vise and pliers method, Moh's video is the best way to do it you just have to take your time.

Easy way out is to tell him to buy the arctic or even lesser power laser. I get asked to build lasers all the time and just tell them to DIY. Most people who ask for one have no business owning one. It's really sad how many tards are out there.

I use a 7 volt 1 amp router wall adapter with the lm317 on most of my builds. The lm317 heats up a bit when used with red diodes.

@Ignis Fatuus I think the TV has a refresh rate of 240 hertz which I don't think it needs because you only see like 24 frames a second, but with that rate you need there $150 glasses to view it. Without glasses it just looks fuzzy. pretty sick though. I wish they just made anaglyph 3d games so...

I just played my buddies 40+" 3d TV with Motor Storm and Black OPs, it was the shiznit. very expensive but the game play is something awesome.
