Ok, got the spectrometer but my LPM wasn't in this shipment, so no power output value yet. But I wasted no time in spectroing this laser; here are my findings: Wavelength is 665nm. And the data file, comma-delimited that can be imported directly into MS Excel or other spreadsheet handler.

Thank you ever so much as well!!! :) I chose to use the cistern because it's my only source of dihydrogen monoxide (water) sufficiently deep to ensure total submergence of the laser. I don't live close enough to a deeper body of water that I can access via my motorised wheelchair.

I believe that the B vitamin most responsible for fluorescence (and turning your piddle a super bright yellow) is riboflavin -- aka. vitamin B2. I'm going to try this with a 405nm laser in the morning -- I've done it in the past but I've never thought to photograph it. :o
