488 is the primary color for argon lasers. you can often pick up low powered air cooled systems off ebay for 100$ or so.

sorry i haven't been around very much lately.. stupid real life things. anyway, here's a new abstract show i made to "river" by bishop briggs. made with lsx, an etherdream dac, and my homemade little laser projector.

yes, they are 15mw single line 488 (cyan) nm argons.

proper triggering probably wouldn't be that hard, but i'd start just by setting the f-stop to something large, the iso to something small, and going with a long exposure.

still not as dark as my heart.
