    [UPDATE] V4 BlitzBuck, Available Soon!

I can't remember, honestly >.> Should be clockwise, if I remember correctly. But if you have a test load, then it shouldn't be a problem. Always test drivers on test loads first, anyway!

    [UPDATE] V4 BlitzBuck, Available Soon!

The V4 was a misnomer for the V3.1. So if you can find a version 3.1, then you're good.

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

Yes, I did get that one! Never bothered upgrading it though. Don't need it. May eventually though.

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

Eh. I got a Rigol DSO. I like it because it is still supported ^_^ Stopped working a few weeks ago. Sent it in, they fixed it for free. All it cost me was shipping there.

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

Obviously the exception and not the norm =p

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

You think you'd be able to get an analog scope for $50? o.o

    Trimming Down...?

I used to be like you. Had a ton of lasers. But then I trimmed down my collection to only the ones you see in my sig (just one of each wavelength that I have). Basically, I sold off the ones I didn't want to keep. In the end, I kept only the ones with unique hosts (unless I didn't have any other...

How the heck does it work?

He was talking about a direct hit at 100ft, if I understand correctly.

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

This is the case, it will be a bit tough to use. But, for the price, it's not terrible. It also helps that it comes with a waveform generator D: And I've needed one of those. Input range isn't too bad. -14V to 20V. But I don't think it's designed to be a DSO =p I think it's just designed to view...

    Cheap, Portable Oscilloscope

Hey everyone. I was looking around on KickStarter and stumbled onto this: Oscilloscope Watch by Gabriel Anzziani ? Kickstarter I thought it was kind of nifty. It's not the best oscope (only 4MSps), but hell, for $125, it's quite a deal. What do you guys think?

    [PIC HEAVY] Got a Monochromator!

Probably not a good idea. Anyway, I got a PCM from Sam so I don't need to do that! In fact, I set up a little circuit that'll detect it for me :D

How the heck does it work?

You've got that exactly right. But just because it's below 5mW does not mean it's not dangerous. It's just 5mW is the threshold for damage in under 0.25 seconds. I would bet that damage could occur even at <1mW.

    M67 Hand Grenade - 520nm

    I like it!

    [PIC HEAVY] Got a Monochromator!

See, I figure that as long as the light is intense enough that it's still visible, a PCM is just as good as my eyes =p

    [PIC HEAVY] Got a Monochromator!

Ah, that's what you mean. I just have a white light at the output that I can see the emission. I should probably get a setup like yours though so I can narrow the slits even further and then I wouldn't have to shine the laser through the slit directly.

    [PIC HEAVY] Got a Monochromator!

    I don't understand this statement >.<

    Post your: Desk/Work area!

Here is my current desk/work area/bed. It's kinda cluttered, but I don't have much room in my dorm!

    [PIC HEAVY] Got a Monochromator!

Thanks for the good discussion, guys :D Bloom - This is everything in the Verity up to the output slit. Right now, I still need to optimize the slit sizes to make sure that the only light that gets through is the light I want to get through. However, I have simply been pointing my defocused...
