@Kap: Not all light passes through glass. Glass is only transparent to light in and around the visible spectrum. Medium- to long-wave IR is absorbed almost completely by it. Just like a CO2 laser ;)

Yup! Especially until you are sure you know what you're doing, safety goggles are pretty important. At a certain point, you should be able to gauge what materials are dangerous to point at and which are not, but for now, get some goggles.

My workbench is sort of empty right now :\ No money because I haven't sold drivers in a while (has taken a while to get the BBV4.1 up and running, but it is working now, just need buyers), and the phaser laser looks like it will have to take a back seat for a while... so no new builds or nuffin :(
