Okay so I'm not sure if it's really blue, it's more like a shadow of light, possibly white, gray, something like that. Don't know how to describe it. It's so dim your eyes have to be adjusted for a half minute to view it.
So I was bored today and started playing with my 800mw 980nm laser. I noticed in darkness I can see a dark grayish blue dot on the wall at close range if I move the laser slowly. Other than this the laser is not visible. Am I actually seeing the 980nm light? I have been lead to believe only...
I fly a Blade 180QX. Kinda cheap but it's fun for the park. I also have a 1.5 meter apprentice S 15e which I've flown to over 4200 feet before the FAA enacted laws to keep model craft below 400 feet. I also own the Eflite Commander mPd and Eflite Habu 32x. Some of these DX long range...
Just a thought. Some people may come and go as finances allow. For example I am on more when I can afford to do builds, buy parts for new setups etc. Could be a reason some people evaporate?

Hi Podo
Hi Francis
I've owned a sanwu silver series 445nm 3watt laser since November, I purchased it from lpf member and machinist Electricplasma. It's been working fine but I haven't used it in like a week...
Sorry, I actually have no idea how to make a driver circuit properly, I usually buy them premade. :) Just wondering, what red diode are you pushing to 1.2 watts? If it's the Oclaro mentioned here, I doubt it will last long at all.
