405nm AR glass lenses - fit AixiZ  FEELER

Re: 405nm AR glass lenses - fit AixiZ  FEELER Most of the Yugo's I've seen already have the smoke screen and the oil slick. Unfortunately there's no way to turn them off. But if you bust the red lens out of the taillights, there's your 'blinding rear lights' ;D cheers, kernelpanic p.s. Can't...

    Influencing dreams

Agreed. I found the most effective technique to be counting as I fall asleep. Especially in the morning. As I nod off, I say to myself 'one I'm dreaming, two I'm dreaming, three I'm dreaming' and so on. Next thing I know I'm lucid and asleep... Too much smot poking? it supresses dreams...

    Do you trust DIY lasers?

Here in the US it's not quite that simple. Almost all of the DIY lasers I've seen, (and ALL of the ones I've built) are > 5mW. They are thus- illegal to sell. Setting up a website would get one a visit from the FDA methinks. I do agree that labels are a good idea. But I also wish there were DIY...

    PC or Mac?

Hardware support is better on desktops. But netbooks are changing that dynamic (slowly). If you want to run a laptop on linux, it's advised to see whether there are drivers available for ALL of the hardware. If you're just starting out Live CD's are the way to go. You can run Linux on your PC...

    Aconsen 40-50 mW module

Yes, the spring is the negative connector. One of the 2 pads on the back will be the positive. To find out which hook up a multimeter(resistance) to the brass module case. Then put the other multimeter lead on each pad. The positive pad will read 0 ohms. (The negative pad will read 0 ohms when...

    Uranium Glass Marbles?

Hello All, There's nothing to be scared of here. The alpha particles emitted by the uranium oxide are for the most part reabsorbed by the glass. The few that escape are absorbed by pretty much any matter they contact. (A piece of typing paper will block alpha particles. The reason they are...

Military  glasses With laser lens 19.99

Re: Military Laser glasses 19.99 (old style?) Revenge, the S-1 and  S-2 lenses are mil-spec covered by MIL-V-43511C. I'll find the exact OD and post it later. But the 'S' lenses are not designed for laser protection. They are the standard sunglass lens. But the dye used to filter UV filters...

    BestOfferBuy.com

Hello All, I took a chance and ordered a laser (this one- http://www.bestofferbuy.com/50mw-green-laser-pointer-with-key-lock-cr2-p-944.html) from bestofferbuy.com. My experience with them has been similar to other chinese companies I've ordered from. Basically, it's a crapshoot. The laser I...

Just noticed on the CNI website...

Guys, it's all semantics. CDRH/FDA rules state that laser 'pointers' must be less than 5mW. Take a class IIIB laser with all applicable safety features that otherwise could get an accession number- calling it a pointer puts it in violation of FDA regs... Any smart company will call it a...
