    Saturdays beamshots

I took a few multibeam pics 635 vs 650 445(low batts) vs 635 635 vs 532 note the sfcr in the background (I think I will start using this angle. 532 seems really green i.e. almost no yellow) red "skeletal" hand

Coming Out of the Closet! Hurra!

I just scroll down to the thing at the bottom of the homepage and open all the threads I have not yet read I never check the sections. I hate it when I find something that sounds super cool, and then I click on the tab I opened and it was something posted on the vets board...

    Blackwolf update (pic heavy)

I have not made a cool thread in awhile, even though I have some new lasers and cool projects I've been working on. I thought I'd make a new thread to give LPF an update. As for lasers I forgot to make reviewish threads for my Lazerer Rifle and SFCR-200. I love both lasers. The red beams are...

    Visibility of 30mW Beam

30mw of 521 is the same brightness as 30mw 589 so I would use a low power 520 for comparison. I can see my 5mw 473 beam on any night but it is very thin and dim. looks amazing with fog though.

Advice needed for my "ideal" laser pointer

go with the 515. it is a diode so it is far less fragile than the DPSS 532. In your field I would go with the durability.

Advice needed for my "ideal" laser pointer

561 will be a yellow green chartreuse color. Dragonlasers should not have it because people had to pester CNI (where dragonlasers products are made) to get 561nm built in to a handheld. You most likely will have to go directly through CNI and ask for 1-5mW of 561 in a pgl host. Keep in mind that...

Advice needed for my "ideal" laser pointer

I have no idea what the thread was called but you could most likely find it with some time some one did the irradiance calculations and unless you point the beam right in your eye and stare at it you would not hurt yourself with a IIIa pointer. say you are pointing at a beam 75ft away the laser...

Advice needed for my "ideal" laser pointer

1mW and an 18650 wow... and need to be visible in all conditions (dot). It is true that 589 is bright. it is about as bright as 520 but because of its color daytime visibility may be a problem. To get the exact specs you are looking for you are most likely need a custom build from CNI. You would...

    CNI no longer exporting >5mW?

by q.c. I meant send back the ones that are busted/dying wavelength binning would be cool though 415, 455-460, 505-511 etc
