*ok but not for long they will block the direct beam but they may fail in one to two seconds. so if your laser falls of a table/tripod etc. and you take a brief hit you should still be fine

If you want an ungodly amount of power and you want it portable CO2 is the WRONG way to go. Get a flashlamp along with a Nd:YAG rod and some mirrors

dude that thing kills cr2's with moderate use they should only last a few days. That thing draws about 500ma. A cr2 is about 750mah. that means you could use it for about 1.5 hours total on one batt
