    575nm Dye Yellow laser

Same here. I only own one multimode laser, the 44, and that's all I need to satisfy my high power needs. Beam specs are way more important to me for sure.

    FS: 1.5+ Watt 445 in C6 Host

I am selling my 445nm Aurora laser. It uses an M140 diode in a direct press full copper heatsink inside a C6 host thro a 405-G-2 lens and runs off dual Microflex drives. I don't have an LPM to measure exact power output which is why I low balled it at 1.5 watts. Most likely it is putting out...

    575nm Dye Yellow laser

Yea that color as amazing let alone the incredible power and the fantastic beam specs. I really hope laser tech keeps advancing at the pace it has these last couple years. Yellow/orange is the only color missing from my rainbow collection right now and only because it's so cost prohibitive and...

"LIGHTHOUND" closed ..... another U.S. supplier gone.

I can second this. I have ordered from him many times before and he truly is the DTR of DIY flashlights and batteries. I actually just complete my first DIY flashlight build today with parts from him and it made things very easy plus the convoy hosts he sells are extremely nice for the price...

    575nm Dye Yellow laser

Really sorry for the necro but this video (and all of planters videos) is just so damn cool and I think more people need to watch it/them. Anyway, I'd really like to know more about particle trapping. One member here said he used an off brand sharpie to do this with a relatively low powered...

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

If my understanding of beam expander theory is correct then unfortunately this actually won't work. The best a set of 4x lenses can do is improve divergence by 4x no matter how close or far away from the source they are. Makes sense if you think about it tho because once the beam exits the...

Need people interested in 6X cylindrical pairs for the NUBM44

I can do 3 sets also. I'm just guessing right now based on the other sets he offers but I'm fairly certain both lenses will measure 12mm by 12mm making them easy to work with and will also be broadband AR coated. I'll edit this once confirmed by opt.

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Well I really doubt we will be able to get anywhere near 100 lenses spoken for unless someone who owns a store decides to jump in and buy a whole lot of these. Opt did say that if I were to get 100 then he would also get 100 for himself which I think was part of the reason the price was 40 per...

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Opt just got back to me. He says 100 pieces would be $40 a set for 6x cylinders. So who wants to organize this lol?

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Yea I will message him and ask more details about those lenses. From the sets of 6x I have seen and just by looking at the picture I highly doubt they are 6x. The 4x pair I have look even stronger than that set. On a side note I was finally able to find someone willing to part with 2 pairs of...

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Ok I will ask him about the price and get back to you.

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Well I just heard back from Opt a few min ago. I messaged them about possibly getting a set of 6x and they told me they don't have them and don't plan on it but they can get them if I were to buy 100 or more. :yabbem: Edit: I did the math and with a set of cylinders from LSP (above post) and...

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Yea Cylindrical Lens Pair to Suit Mitsubishi Red Diodes 445nm and 520nm Diodes | eBay. They work pretty well for 4x. Just difficult to align because they are different sizes.

WTB - "Extended Length" Lens Holder

Ok thanks for that So with the G2 being 6.3mm and fits the lens barrel sold by DTR (and also the extended barrels being sought out here) and the G7 podo has are 7mm then I should probably order the G7 inside the holder he sells instead of bare lenses and one of these extended holders?

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Yeah let me know what you hear back from techhood about his lenses. There isn't very much info on his site about their focal lengths or magnification or even very specific about the sizes of each lens. I already have a pair of 4x I got from LSP and they have worked great but have shown to fall...

WTB - "Extended Length" Lens Holder

Subscribed in case a source is found. Would also like one or a few of these assuming they are fit for the standard G lenses we all use (Anyone know off top the OD of the G1/2/9 lens?)

    WTB 6x cylindrical lens set

Hi all, I have been trying to find a good set of 6x cylinders (preferably both the same size to make things easier) to tame the NUBM44 and 07E diodes and haven't had much luck. If anyone has a set they are willing to sell or know of anywhere I can get some please let me know. Thanks EDIT: I...

    New G7 lens for 445nm / 462nm / 520nm

    Thanks : )

    New G7 lens for 445nm / 462nm / 520nm

In one of the pictures on your gallery it shows that 2 beam red Mitsubishi diode and it looks like you got both beams to sit parallel to each other. Is this just an illusion or are they actually parallel? If so I would like to know how you managed that?

Aluminum unit to mount Cylindrical Lenses

Im willing to bet that the set they have for the Mitsubishi is the same set they are going to use for these new diodes because of the similarity in the beam profiles. It looks like they all have the same AR coating and the only difference between the cylinders for the 445nm 520nm and 635nm/mitsu...
