    mini RC helicopters

She's gigantic!!! By "expensive" I was referring to the fact that it's a 3ch Heli. With a few more quid you would already be in the 4ch market. Lol, I'm already eyeballing 6ch CP helis... Enjoy it - maybe you could even whip up a video for us... ;)

Nice! A bit pricey though for a 3ch... what made you go for that model?

    mini RC helicopters

The CB180D? Nice, but yet another "big-ass" heli... Where do you guys fly these, outdoors or in school gyms (or similiar indoor areas)? I already "grounded" my V100D01... Parts already ordered and shipped - just in time too, because the Chinese New Year is almost upon us and anyone who's...

    mini RC helicopters

Happy birthday. In advance ;) It looks very nice, but what made you choose the UFLY S? Why not be daring and go stright for a flybarless...? I'd say the V200D02 is both your size (439mm vs. 500mm) and price range...

    mini RC helicopters

With "juddering", do you mean shaking or rattling in flight when hovering? Mine flys pretty "clean" but drifts. There's no chance to hover with this Heli, it wants to fly :p If by "balance" you mean hovering in place, well neither can mine. It should be easier with a coax+flybar though... :/...

    mini RC helicopters

Well it took like forever and to add insult to injury, it got flagged by customs (adding a whopping $70 to the total), but I finally got 'em :) The V100D01 is a serious little beast; I did a check on all functions (throttle, aileron, elevator and rudder) and could barely hold on to it during...

Post your most memerable video games

Respect... Agreed, I'll have to add that one to my list (although I don't quite remember what platform I played it on...). Looks like TJ beat me to it - speaking of which, I'll have to add Tempest (thx, Giorge!) to my list too

Post your most memerable video games

Arcade: Asteroids (this one got me hooked...) Battlezone Bezerk (this one cost me more quarters than any other game...) Centipede Defender (simply awesome game! I even have it now on a GBA cartridge) Pacman Phoenix Space Invaders Star Wars ("cockpit" arcade unit... too kewl) Tempest ...I...

Review of the Keychain Green Laser Module

Updated 1/11 ... of a 12/05 pointer? what part of the review did you update, exactly? The idea of a true 552nm 5mW after-IR filter is actually not bad, not bad at all... Of course I hope the price has dropped in 2005... $50 a lot of money now a days for a keychain lazor... :-/ /off topic p.s...

    JayGuin 445nm "Razor Lazor" Review

Took it out for New Year's and I have to say that it still blows me away... ! I know that we could just as easily use Moore's law in DIY-lasing but I just can't imagine what's going to replace these 445nm diodes as the next stepping stone in the hobby. More power makes little sense though...

Lol, I just realized that this is the same 6025-1 you guys were talking about at the very beginning of this tread... :yabbem: I probably should have gone with your s107, but I was attracted by the small size of the 6025-1. Here's a Wiki on it, in case you're (still) interested...

Me likey  That's a serious rig you got there  Might be able to haul your entire optical table across the continent with that bad boy :D Lol ;) So it looks like you'll have to put down your soldering gun and pick up your arc welder for a few weeks / mths / ...yr? But teasing aside...

Jay, it would figure that your the resident expert :D Inverted... woah! The Aligns are all 6ch CP, if I'm not mistaken... . I'll be satisfied if I can keep my 4ch BFL (FP) from crashing on its maiden voyage :o Well, it should arrive next week & I've been reading up on tweaking tactics...

Cool, looks like a very nice coax (here's a detailed review); I had the Walkera CB100 coax in mind 'till I decided to take it a step further and go with a flybarless design. Blade is certainly a popular brand as far as I've seen and their 190mm mSR is pretty cool and VERY popular

My favorite (so far) - beautiful  Very nice ride, would love one too, thank you very much. Here's mine, a '95 GT. Wouldn't turn a single head in the States but in Vienna it certainly gets it's share. Very ironic when cruising next to Porsche 911s and Audi S8s that are roughly 5x the...

    mini RC helicopters

Hi / hola! I've decided to give indoor-electric-RC-Helis a try, but I don't want to buy just any $30 garbage. So of course, I started to do my homework. Knowing you guys are freaks with more than just photons, I figured I'd search LPF for RC heli threads and voila, here I be ;) I've been...
