    do you perhaps have a link to where you bought it from? It look like some kind of a digro / filter, but i dont see the use of this for 405nm laser.....:thinking:.... i might be wrong like 90% of the time though:p Very interesting non the less

    This looks like a nice alternative for a bench powersupply to test diodes.:gj: Expanding this to more range settings might even make it more versatile for higher power diodes.

Is it done by twisting a part of the host?, is it done by accessing the lens internally? Im really curious:yh: Oh and the power certificate is really a nice touch!

    just remember that these 18650 ( iirc actually 18500 or 18600 ) are not protected, so be carefull with over/under charging them.
