Selling the empty host would really be awesome, i would love to have a set of lasers in these hosts ( red, blue, green, violet ) Or just sell complete lasers with different wavelenghts ( i pretty much had it with all those 445nm:p )

This looks like a nice alternative for a bench powersupply to test diodes.:gj: Expanding this to more range settings might even make it more versatile for higher power diodes.

Aw that really sucks, i was really hoping that it would go 400+ 650/660nm. always wanted a higher power red handheld:cryyy:

just remember that these 18650 ( iirc actually 18500 or 18600 ) are not protected, so be carefull with over/under charging them.

just buy a simple green pen for $10 on ebay, would most likely be sufficient for your need and also uses easy to get batteries. You can always buy more expensive and better quality lasers, but since you just use it once in a while to point at stars i would recomend a cheap pointer. also IF it...
