I use a heat gun for the GhostDrives and it works pretty spiffy. Stuff does move around if you're not careful though, and those parts on the benboost are a lot smaller... I haven't had a chance to put any benboosts together yet, but I imagine that you'd have to be pretty careful with a heat gun.

273mA is going to fry that PHR diode. :undecided: Might want to bring it down a bit.

You don't have to worry about reference voltage, but you do have to remember to factor in the voltage drop of the laser diode that you are using. So if you're using the GhostDrive with a red diode, you get 2.4V + ~3V = 5.4V.
