TJ is right you really need a diagnostic check to see whats up. The good side is pretty much anything can be replaced/upgraded including the mobo! Good luck!

Have you run a complete diagnostics from safe mode? If not you might try to reseat the ram chips first and run the diagnostic. This will take a while and need some watching as well.

Haha, but you left out the part where the reps communication skills are so bad you can't tell what the hell they are saying or know if they even understand you. I just replaced a failed WD HDD in my wife's notebook with a Hitachi TK500 got it loaded back up with everything and fixing to clone it...

Unless I missed something your 3.6v you mentioned above should easily work. I have a micro flex V5 set at about 1475mA in a host that uses the AW IRC123 750mAh and it fires around 1400mW just fine.
