Mine usually does the same thing. I hold down my finger over the rep box until paste appears and enter the message like that.

I told you to check the switch before I saw that post saying it only briefly flashed. :p That's why I said clean your contacts and check all connections in the head of the laser.

If you've tried unprotected batts and they aren't the issue, Id bet on a electrical contact issue in the head of the laser. Might be a short or insufficient case path. The issue you're having is similar to one I had with a torch. Cleaning out the threads and tightening everything up might fix it.

It that doesn't work I'll try and think of more things that might be causing the issue. For now I would advise you try what I mentioned above if you haven't already. Hmm, have you tried different batts? And are they protected? Seems like an issue I was having with a torch.

What host? Try cleaning the contacts and tightening the retaining ring inside the tail cap. If that doesn't work I would take out the clicky and inspect it.

My rep box completely disappears when I go to type something in. This seems to be the only way of typing a comment in my case. I might message Avery and see what can be done.

It seems like a few people are having issues when trying to write a comment in the reputation box on portable devices like tablets and phones. This isn't a permanent fix, rather a way to get around it. Type your comment in to the url bar And paste it in to the rep box. It isn't very convenient...

FP's flux is great. It sticks to diode pins and wires perfectly which helps positioning your wires on to the diodes pins. It also cleans the joint well and leaves almost no residue. Certainly helped me make better joints.
