Does it needs to be ESD protected to be used on diodes?

My current soldering iron has not temperature control aswell! Is there a maximum temperature for soldering these circuits or the diodes? Does my soldering iron needs to be ESD protected?

Well, i'm looking for a new soldering iron for the little driver circuits like microboosts. I found some butane irons, are they good for that application? Also good for soldering diodes?

Well, i've put the positive input on TTL+ and it didn't work! What do i wire on VCC?? Do i need to jump VCC and TTL+ with a diode?

Well... i didn't understand it very well... I have 4 of them and they just don't light my diodes... I connected power input to Power "-" and "+" on the pic, left the TTL "+" unused. Used only one of the "-" outputs. Didn't work... what's the easiest way to make them work? I also tried the thing...

Well, i'm aware of the risks, it will be used for industrial purpose, cutting faber! Also, where cna i buy that kind of driver? I didn't find it anywhere... Can i use just a current regulator (LM317)? Will it work? I have to regulate the current in the negative pin, right?

Well, i got my new c@$!0 diode and a microboost from daguin. The soldering was so small that i prefered taking it to a tecnician... He inverted the pins on the diode, and i turned it on with a voltage of ~4,7V... I just realized the shit i had made now, did i burn the diode? Tomorrow i'll take...
