Oh boy. Your going to be really mad when you hear this. Its a 532nm(green) DPSS module. And you'll hate to hear that its no where near a 100 dollar unit(until i see detailed pictures or a LPM graph) The good news is that it looks unused. But you would need a simple pen host to fit that into...

A 650nm diode itself costs ~30 dollars if i can remember. Not much you can do here with 30 dollars.

^ do it. I just got the 30mW 532nm from Blord. It has constant on, flashing mode and a safety lock(easily pick-able XD). Probably the coolest pen-laser I've owned by far because of the features. *The 405 doesn't come with the flashing mode. Great review by the way! +1 :)

With this info. You basically just start from scratch(almost) with the laser. You'll need a digital multimeter, soldering iron and a m140 diode(verify what size diode fits) and a diode press for starters. You should be able to figure out the rest through the forum ;) Start reading and...

Is that 532nm or 445nm? We need LOTS of details. Its hard to help with few details.

Nice find! That seems like some rather crappy build quality. It seems like it was all loose in the host? Is that correct? Paint remover? are you going to polish it?! :D
