Yeah, the green line is the weakest and usually the first to go missing. With lasers, 'untested' usually means 'unworking' on ebay, so it'll be interesting. Shipping this thing would scare me, too. Mine survived shipping, but that's only because Sam had a box with packing meant to ship this...

Sure but - the one that went zombie... That wasn't due to overdriving or end of life, right? So that's not really "lifespan" so much... I've killed plenty of A140 diodes! Either through ESD or bad soldering (losing a leg!)... But haven't had any die in-host during use yet.

I"ve heard this chart mentioned a few times, but haven't seen it. I'd like to see the spectro shift when overdriving a singlemode 450. I've been trying to get a 'high' 445/450, so far no luck; all of mine (and it's quite a few) seem to come in at right around 447 or so.
