The jumps between the bars are very small. It doesn't need much to get 5/6 green bars. I would like to see there is a greater gaps between the jumps. Not long ago I rep someone who has -1 rep aka red bar. His rep jumps immediately to 4 greens. That is a pretty large jump.

I don't know if the C6 tailcap has been changed in design. Pictures would clarify much. First you want the silicone button replaced but now you want to replace the whole switch ? There is another black plastic retainer ring on the switch. Maybe it has come loose and make the connection erratic...

Don't do that. You will never put it back in that way. The inner part is just screwed in. You need a fine tipped tweezers to get a grip on the two small holes in the retainer ring and screw it out. Then everything will fall out.

It already grown hundred fold and you have the opportunity to sell it. Better real cash in hand than nothing in the end or at least lower than now. If you are waiting for more then you are just greedy. :)

Re: Remove the coating from a lens. I have some G9 lenses harvested and they were a little damaged during the handling. The local shop sells only Hydrochloric acid. It is a pretty common acid and it does nothing to the coating. Well I could put the lens under the microscope and see exactly what...

Does anybody know how to remove the coating of a G lens ? I have several lenses with a bad coating like stratches and burned surface. These lenses give a bad looking dots, flares and speckles around the dot. The coating need to be remove so that I can determine if it is the coating or the shape...

Yes, that is normal for the M140 445nm laser. The laserdiode is multimode. The dot is not round but bar shaped.
