    FS: Custom machined laser hosts

Sure Bob, any visualizations help a ton. I might just have to get a dummy module for testing as well. Feel free to PM me!

    Check out the Host!

Thanks all. :D Looking forward to AL's builds that will come out of these hosts.

    FS: Custom machined laser hosts

Good day Bob, all is good here and hope it's likewise for you. :D Are you talking about a 12mm module set-up with a spring on the end? I know what you mean either way, but will need to know more about the specifics. I could definitely come up with something like that but would need pictures of...

gonna try a 375nm pointer build...

    That's hilarious.

    Check out the Host!

Nice to see a thread like this, thanks AL, and Gabe. Was very fun to make these, they turned out pretty nicely. :D

    FS 488 solid state

Yea, unfortunately I don't think you'll get many bites if you're asking $500 with no pictures.

    Charging circuit for micro batteries

Yes, they suggested any standard li-ion battery charger of a suitable current, but did not give me a specific model. Specs are as follows: 4pcs - Capacity: 80mAh Rate: 10C Diameter: 6.5mm Height: 38mm 4pcs - Capacity: 80mAh Rate: 10C Diameter: 7.2mm Height: 30mm 4pcs - Capacity: 65mAh Rate...

Review of the new 15W LPM from LPS....

Juicy thread. First of all I can definitely say Jerry's LPMs are not amateur, the correct word would be hobbyist (as Jerry pointed out already) LPMs. Saying they're amateur makes the person saying it sound like they're referring to a maker or individual, not a company, like J.Bauer Electronics...

    Charging circuit for micro batteries

Yea, they're cylindrical but not standard. Definitely wouldn't fit into a button cell charger unless modified. They're a capacitor-battery hybrid, being a capacitor form factor but a li-ion composition.

    Charging circuit for micro batteries

Thanks to both of you, although diachi I think that's out of my league. Jerry thanks for that eBay link, I'll use that chart and change Rprog accordingly, thanks. :yh: Edit: actually might get that practice kit, can't beat the price for the experience. Worth a shot at least, especially for just...

    Charging circuit for micro batteries

Electrical engineering isn't my strong point so I have no idea where to go from here. I've got some tiny li-ions on the way, (<80mAh, one is even 65mAh!) and I'm kinda stumped on how to charge them. At first I thought of using the TP4056, but then saw on the datasheet that the minimum appears...

    MT-G2 builds

Cool flashlight build, wouldn't mind seeing some shots of the output too. Also pictures are big, you might get some complaints about that.

LOL do you not see the relationship between the first two quotes and that last quote? Hint: starts with hypo and ends with critical

    Pocket LPM from Laserpointerstore?

Microsoft Sam makes a return! Actually I don't think it looks too bad. But the more important question is how well does it function, anyone plan on buying it?

    What would be more bright?

Probably the NDG7475. I've had both 1W 520nm and 7W 450nm and I think the 520 was brighter. Also consider the NUBM07E too though, it's nearly as bright but with an even better colour (465nm).

Exactly, see my last post in this thread. Not sure what the deal is there, I think we're all supposed to laugh?
