Yea, like others have said, first thing that catches my eye is the high price. A nubm08 module with an integrated driver on DTR's site runs for 114$ (I'll exclude shipping since you'd have to charge the buyer for shipping, added to the asking price). Asking $300 makes the host itself cost $186...

Curtis got it all, Cura is a very versatile program and works with a wide variety of machines. There's a scale function in Cura on the left column of the model view, right under the "move" function. You can scale any model by percentage or measurement. :D

I think Grainde suggested that because of the smell/fumes that comes from printing ABS. I don't see any major differences between the two plastics for my applications so I just use PLA. Nicely done on the build. :yh: What happened between you and Jerry? :confused:

Paul put together the module I used in my 505nm build for me. He spent lots of time on it and didn't send it out until it was perfect. Age is no excuse, but it is somewhat of a talent. :D

Awesome, don't know how many times my 3D printer has saved my behind. Very versatile machines, I've got one of the Prusa build kits and I think Rivem has some knowledge on these too. Enjoy it :D

What a waste of perfectly good lighter fluid! You also could've sold the driver for a bit of cash too. Maybe setting still-useful/salvageable components on fire out of anger isn't exactly the best course of action. @RCB, LOL I need to rep you for that.

GSS nailed it. I can't imagine coming across precision machinery for consumers is very easy to come by in Alaska, but I might be wrong. You should ask around locally. There may very well be a reason why custom machining is expensive. It's a lot of money to run a shop, even a home shop. Good...

Awesome build! I did the same thing in my 473nm build (see avatar) with the tight focus aperture, I'd like to thing it counts for style points. :D
