    Hilarious Chinese lens manufacturer name....

I think it's a bad translation, of which they named their company. Their logo doesn't help, either! Other lenses aren't squat.

    Sharp GH04C05B9G 5W 440-450nm

I am as well, I'm thinking about asking Laser Tree if they have considered recanning the NUBM0C's.

NUBM07 : how long do these last when decanned?

No, the figure given is the percentage of degradation from the diode's initial output when the test started. The relation to a diode that retained it's original "ball lens"/cap should be the same between the two. <5% output degradation as specified by LaserTree after 720 hours of operation...

NUBM07 : how long do these last when decanned?

Not very long... as in, it's common to hear people report their diode being noticeably dimmer within a week. I would suggest buying a capped NUBM07 from lasertree on ebay. They sell NUBM07's along with many other gball diodes that have been canned with an inert gas fill and I've heard...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

That may be due to your monitor having a poor color gamut, watching your video there is an absolutely obvious difference between the 07 and the 44, the 07 appearing sky blue and the 44 appears almost violet in comparison when viewed on my monitor. Can you compare the 0C and the 44s...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

Thanks for the info. It's normal for diodes to vary a few nm from diode to diode so it's possible you happened to get one on the low end of the spectrum, at least that's what I'm hoping :) Could you possibly take pictures of the NUBM0C and the NUBM07's spot to compare them? Or a pic of the two...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

Awesome, I'm about to order one as well. Did you order yours from Techhood, OpticsLD or someone else? LaserTree is awesome.. they have so many "ball lens" diodes available that are properly recapped with inert backfill and FAC and SAC options on most of the diodes. I'm hoping they will start...

    NUBM0C 465nm 4.1W@rated, 5.9W@4A via G2 - 1.4X brighter than NUBM44@7W

Why hasn't there been talk about this diode other than a couple one post topics posted in the wrong forums (445nm, etc)? Considering that people are still making builds with the NUBM07 and this diode appears to supersede it, I'm surprised that this isn't available on DTR's site or even seems to...

Looks like you need to update your wavelength scorecard :-)

But no pics of the unit in operation? What have we done to deserve this?? ;)

    $20 scope whaoooo!!!

You guys are reminding me of the Heathkit IO-12 scope I used to have. Had it displaying audio waveform for the music playing through my stereo when I was growing up. Miss that thing.

    review of lasence's 575nm and 545nm lasers

I'm guessing I'm probably about to say what most everyone checking this thread out is thinking- Pictures would be.... cool :)

Lasence: Yellow laser modules just got cheaper

    Looks like there's a 50mw 571nm unit for $239 also.. https://lasence.en.alibaba.com/product/1600080939860-819396709/571nm_laser_module_yellow_laser.html?spm=a2700.shop_plgr.41413.28.6b2e72203L3fs7

dichroic mirror seller or other suggestions to try and make selectable laser

Sorry man, there's been a lot of trolls on here and seeing that you are a new member I was suspicious. I guess that's the real damage of what trolls do to us!

Back from 2014...man prices have changed

What diode is rated at 492nm@100mw? The only thing I was aware of that are available around that wavelength are the Sharp diodes and I thought they were all spec'd at or around 60mw.. sort of hoping I missed a diode that was 492@100, because I want it :)

    NUBM46-71 Diodes

You also may want to check out "lasertree" or "laserstree" on ebay.. they're the ones selling the FAC'd and windowed NUBM and NUGM diodes, they seemed pretty happy to help the community so they may be willing to cap diodes with a window at a reasonable price. They claim to use proper backfill...

dichroic mirror seller or other suggestions to try and make selectable laser

Are you a troll? Not that you'd admit to it.. just something about your language and the logic and the time consuming nature of writing a proper response. It seems that if you know what a dichroic filter is, that you would almost certainly know that there are well established ways to...
