TJ's back. That's an interesting reason for 20,000 new viewers.

Do you have access to the forum's Google Analytics? That would be interesting to see.

Agreed. Is is growing every second. Could it be some kind of attack? EDIT: it looks to average about 1 user every 5 seconds.

Thanks for banning him (and all of the mod work you do). Will do next time. EDIT: I said I won't respond... I said I won't respond... I said I won't respond... I said I won't respond... I said I won't respond...

    Microwave oven leak

Is your phone using 802.11a? EDIT: 802.11y would do it too, but no way your phone is using it.

List of projectors that have diodes in them.

Regardless of what you think about the legality of it, the administrators/mods have requested it not be posted.

Friendly heads-up concerning the 445 diodes

That's a good question. If I mention ********* (the pasta laser show program created by a scammer), it is censored. Not even one letter shows up. Why can't we do that with the calculator manufacturer?

    Lithium ion cells in parallel.

That would be correct if they are protected with decent PCBs. If you have room, you could also put an external protection circuit in.

    Lithium ion cells in parallel.

The only risk is over discharging one. LiOn cells don't like to get bellow 3.0 volts. If one cell has a higher internal resistance (see: http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/how-healthy-your-batteries-how-measure-internal-resistance-57576.html) than the other, is will discharge slower. I would...

    RSS Feed

I have noticed on a lot of other forums (including vBulletins), they have the options for an RSS feed (either of the whole forum, or individual section). Being that I spend a lot of time each day on forums, I am trying to consolidate to a single feed. Is there any way we could enable that? I...

Peregrine - The Free, Open Source LPM Interface

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface That is cool! I run Linux on one of my PCs, but have no LPM. If that is still somehow helpful, let me know. I can only imagine what you had to go through to get Jerry to "endorse" this. +1 if I can.

    is 808nm extremely dangerous?

    Don't let lasersbee see it.

Appropriate Laser for Hollow Form Woodturning?

Agreed. One other bonus to the Aixiz one is that it is focusable, so you can make the dot as small as you desire.

    Fixed: ReKe 500 X-axis broken

Re: ReKe 500 X-axis broken I had a problem where the Y axis scanner would shift vertically by about 15 degrees. That was just enough that every time it hit the peak of it's travel, it would smack whatever stops it from spinning infinitely. I opened it up and jiggled cords until one made the...

"Protect Your Home with Laserbeams!" help

It was a useful post. I don't see what the problem is with centralizing data. Why have 2 threads that both have half of a project in them. Then lasersbee has to yell at people who don't search to find the other half. That was a useful post. I would have put it in this thread too.
