    8x in Aixiz module?

Does anyone know of a place that sells harvested 8x bluray diodes that have been set into Aixiz modules, like this 405nm GGW-H20L 6x Blu Ray Diode in Aixiz Module +650nm LCC diode [GGW-H20L] - $56.82 : High Tech DealZ, Simplifying the LASER Hobby!, except with a BDR-SO3 diode in it? How much...

    getting started

Welcome to LPF! I'm sure you've already heard this many times already, but be sure to read around, there's lots of great information to be found here. Can't wait to see your future builds, good luck!

    200mw 660nm underpower ?

Lower powered lasers are typically overpowered, so even if it was advertised as 5 mW, the power could be substantially higher. I believe that your green is probably at around 20 or 30 mW, which is why you are seeing it as so much brighter than the 200 mW. I can only faintly see the beam of a 200...

multiple color laser pointers for multiple presenters

I don't think that would work, because I'm assuming he need three seperate lasers that will all be pointed at different things at the same time. I suggest the same thing as above, buying a low powered green (1-2 mW), a 5-10 mW red and a 10-15 mW bluray. Try to buy all of those from members...

    Which Laser Should I Buy?

I'm positive that Rayfoss gives batteries and a charger free with a purchase, so I don't think you need to worry about that unless you receive defective ones.

Concerned about IR emissions from a Rayfoss laser

Have you tried taking a nightshot picture with IR dot at a farther distance? If it remains fairly well collimated, then it shouldn't be a worry considering the green will be a bigger danger.

    Which Laser Should I Buy?

Unless from a very high quality company like Optotronics, I would stay away from high powered pen lasers. You will end up with a low duty cycle ( less laser time until it heats up) and a higher chance of an off spec laser, plus its not focusable. I'd say having the ability to focus is far more...

    Which Laser Should I Buy?

A 200 mW green will look about twice as bright as a 50 mW. I wouldn't recommend buying either of those 200 mW greens because the Rayfoss isn't focusable and yotang has yet to be well reviewed. Why not buy www.rayfoss.com or www.rayfoss.com both are focusable and only 10-20 dollars more.

150mW laserland red for rgy project

Quite the opposite, a 50 mW green will easily overpower a 150 mW red. With green appearing much brighter to the human eye, my 50 mW green blocks out even 200 mWs of red. You will either need to get a lower powered green (20 mW~) or a higher powered red.

Review Compilation - All Reviews In Just One Thread!

A small error I found, under Focalprice's blurays the "200 mW Pen Style" is incorrectly marked 200 mW when it should be 20 mW. Nothing big, just thought I might mention it.

What laser and where should I buy it?

No problem, and I'm sure this will last you much longer than a few weeks :D

What laser and where should I buy it?

O-like does indeed sell 200 mW green lasers. Rayfoss is kind of like the "sister" company to o-like, with similar prices, quality and customer service so you could always look there. I'm afraid a decent quality 200 mW green will cost more than $100. $130 sounds like the cheapest, stable 200 mW...

What laser and where should I buy it?

At least you tried searching before posting, so you might be spared from the "use the search button" lecture. Also, if you click the Search tab in the bar at the top, 3rd from the left, it is much more effective than the generic one on the left side of the screen. First of all, which color are...

    need cash! cr2 key chain x6 blu-ray for 115$!!!!

Re: cr2 key chain x6 blu-ray for trade for a green laser. I doubt you would be willing to trade me for a 50 mW greenie :p Do you have a ballpark range at what mW you want?

Is building all that much cheaper?

I think I'll just take the easy way out and buy the "kit" from Jayrob, thanks for the help though!

Is building all that much cheaper?

Does anyone here know of a good (cheap :D) host that I can use, preferably about as small as Jayrob's Cree flashlight host?

Is building all that much cheaper?

Thanks for the input, I think I'll attempt my very first build as soon as I get a hold of all the parts. GGW-H20L diode in Aixiz module from High Tech Dealz = $56.82 MicroFlexDrive = $23 Jayrob's Pocket Mini basic kit = $43 AW RCR123a Protected 750 mAh Battery = $6.99 Total = 129.81...

    O-Like shipping Question

Sounds to me like it got through customs, just that a strict check by them delayed the package. "anyway I got that it is through customs "
