It’s good, but it’s not copper, it’s brass. Still decent for heatsinking. If you want to replace diode and driver I would suggest a small driver, Nano Driver barely fits module I think that “Astral Picodrive” is good choice as it’s small. Also make the diode pins cut. I left about 2,5-3mm pins...

I used brass module which was already there. It just unscrews from the host itself, so let’s say it’s easy to remove.

Sanwu doesn’t sell empty hosts, to get this host I had to remove 638nm diode from it.

I made this laser myself, this laser contains Nano Drive from Lazeerer. Duty cycle is 20seconds on and off. 493.2nm Sharp Laser diode sold by Zraffleticket

The prices on those parts are high, for 80mw 589nm they want $800 directly quoted from CNI.

I’m afraid, but only new lens will help. Those 303 lenses last a few days before they get out of use. They all tend to get dirty and you can’t really make them clean again. You get what you pay for. Conclusion: Don’t buy 303

Re: Sharp 495nm GH04850B2G 55mW Laser Diode According to the datasheet this batch is 480nm-495nm (from max to min) typ.485nm. I guess the serial tells the same GH04850B2G Which are 48(x)nm ones. Already crossed my fingers, excited! I’ll take two if they are less than 490nm. :eg:

Beam specs are awful on those multimode red diodes, diverging really quick. Even with 3e lens beam is a meter wide at distance of 100 meters.

That’s good reason to save money, those are getting cheap! I’d like to see 488nm in Sanwu Striker Host. (My dream) What about they make higher power multimode 488nm? :D

I also exposed DL’s 589’s as they use module that can’t exceed 30 mw, they use PGL-VI. The most interesting is that they use this module in their 50mw version. Kinda weird. So they are just scammers. See this module? They use this in 50 mw version:
