Laser BEAM heat and Heatsink Coloring..

my votes: 1) Very interesting question... I think there will be a slight measurable signature caused be a 1000mw laser. 2) the color has nothing to do with it's heat conductivity.

FS: Glow Marble Mini Light! - Project Parts...

Nice idea! I used 1/2" Uranium Marbles as eyes in a really nice 33" Skeleton with some blue/UV led's... Nice mellow glow. But this is far better. I might have to get a kit and build it for my 18 month old nephew, he was just amazed by my Lumia...

no beam diode, but red inside.

IR can be viewed with most digital and cellphone cameras... Just try it with your TV remote. Then you can gauge the relative brightness between the VERY weak IR remote and the VERY strong IR output from your laser...

    Poor taste

I PM'ed you with a question. mebbe you missed it. resending. Also, I found it kinda tough to gift someone who you don't know, beyond knowing that he has TONS of laser stuff and sells it... So I was tempted to ask as well. I wound up making something very cool, and while it's kinda techy...

    Laservision Digital SE head.

absolutely nothing. the fuse is good. I didn;t expect much when first powered up, but I did think it would hum or buzz or maybe the glavos might wiggle a little. Then again, without he controllers connected, it shouldn't lase anyway. but nothing...

    Laservision Digital SE head.

Hey All, A friend gave me a Laservision Digital SE head unit. This seems to be part of a system of a few of these with numerous control panels and such... like this: Laservision Digital SE system It has a tube laser (I am assuming it's a HeNe) The laser warning sticker indicates 5mW and...

Good telescope for a 10 year old.

OK. When I got this a few years ago, we got it set up on a picnic table in Disneyworld's Fort Wilderness campground. Thinking my son would point at the moon, I asked him what we wanted to look at. He pointed at the 2nd brightest object in the sky. We looked and saw a bigger blob and a...

    Free Laser (For Me...Score)

So, I got my Core 5mw greenie yesterday. I doubt it is only 5mw, probably more like 15-20. Nice spot. came in a nice case and all... Very pleased. Then again, based on all the negative feedback, I wouldn't buy WL. But I'll spellcheck for it.

    Great news for us guys!

Quote: (AP)--Women who perform the act of fellatio and swallow semen on a regular basis, one to two times a week, may reduce their risk of breast cancer by up to 40 percent, a North Carolina State University study found. I KNEW I should have gone to Wake Forest or some other North Carolina...

    Flying LASER Ghost.

After seeing that my Flying Crank Ghost's ghost had played host to a family of mice, and feeling entirely too lazy to make a new one, AND having a Laser Lumia that I had just assembled for another purpose, I put one and one together and made something that I think is VERY cool...
